Sim-Biotic

In our search for the perfect balance between humans and nature – the biotics, we look again into our biggest inspiration, nature itself, and how nature reacts to the ever-chaning surrounding. The “Sim” here stands for simulating and simulations, where we always try to simulate all biotic and living things value into our garments from the start.

This season’s pieces are what we call a closer step to sustainability for
Bluesville, as we feature a range of more sustainable fabric options
reflected in our garments. We use several ranges from Tencel fibers including
their pure Tencel fibers, cotton-Tencel blend as well as linen-Tencel blend.
All our printed shirts are using Tencel while some of the outer are using
100% pure cotton.

We are also applying more sustainable processes by infusing our well-known
plant-based dyeing technique into couples of pieces this season. In
particular, our indigo dye ingredients are cultivated in our farm, a step
further to achieve the farm-to-wardrobe concept. We also feature recycled
handwoven fabrics in our outer as well as using cutting waste to create our
patchwork shirting options, ultimately reducing waste in our production
lines. Lastly, we are featuring mycelium-based leather options from our
friend Bells Society in our bags and accessories.
